Super light clay is naturally air-dried soil, which has high adhesion and is not sticky. It is a new type of environmentally friendly, non-toxic, naturally air-dried hand-made modeling material. It is mainly made of polymer foaming powder for foaming, and then physically mixed with polyethanol, cross-linking agent, glycerin, pigment and other materials in a certain proportion.
The more naturally air-dried the clay is, the stricter the preservation requirements are. No matter what kind of packaging of super light clay you buy, it is recommended that you prepare a sealed box, pack the unused clay and put it in a sealed box for airtight storage. Even if you forget to seal the bag mouth of the clay or the bag has a small hole and you don’t notice it, as long as you buckle the lid of the sealed box tightly, all possible problems that may arise due to negligence can be avoided.
Some boxed clay or bagged clay has already hardened somewhat, don’t worry, use your fingers to sprinkle some water in, and keep it for two days, the clay with slightly hardened surface will also recover its elasticity. Of course, if you put the hardened clay into the soft and elastic clay, it will recover faster.
The worst situation is that the ultra-light clay you haven't used up has dried up very badly before you find it. Then there is a last resort to save it, which is to soak the clay in water for several weeks, and then knead it repeatedly, it may regain some elasticity and you can continue to play with it. So it is recommended that you don't wait until this situation occurs. We put the ultra-light clay in a tightly sealed box as soon as possible, and all worries will be gone.
